Where does the name Kawee originate from? You will notice we have many grass trees on our property, also known as Xanthorrhoea Australis. In certain Aboriginal languages, they are called bukkup, baggup or kawee. Given the amount of these amazing native plants, and our property being located in Darkinjung Country, we felt Kawee was a fitting name for our retreat. Learn about the many uses of this amazing native plant!
